Lewis is a singer based in Essex who excels in pop, musical theatre and swing music. He also entertains to big crowds of people and delivers performances with confidence and a natural showmanship.

Lewis began singing in local talent competitions and open mic nights at venues such as Reid’s Bar, East Coast Social and The Quays in Basildon. He also took part in a charity fundraiser in 2015 and 2016 to raise money for Southend Hospital’s Dementia appeal.

In November 2015, Lewis was accepted into Southend Operatics & Dramatics Society and played several minor roles in two stage productions - Hello Dolly in April 2016 and Rock of Ages in November 2016. This gave him the confidence to perform on stage and improve on his acting and vocal skills.

Lewis has also performed at large venues to crowds of more than 130 people, such as the Salvation Army’s Silver Service Club in Hadleigh and the Friendship Club at the Romford Salvation Army.

 

The audiences Lewis would sing to ranges from the ages of 50 upwards, however, his repertoire is expanding to meet the needs of a much broader clientele as he is receiving bookings from younger age groups.

Lewis' penultimate achievement is coming runner-up at a major singing competition in Essex called Factor Essex, and featured in the competition’s Christmas charity single to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Since the competition, he was singed for a year to a local record label called Bad Influence Productions (now Kalm Creative) and was deeply involved with their artist development program. *Please note, at the time of writing this did not restrict Lewis in any capacity from taking paid work and performing gigs*.

At the end of 2018, Lewis embarked on a different project as a Swing and Jazz vocalist for the Sid Bolan Big Band. Since then, he has performed at the Castle Park Bandstand in Colchester, Purleigh Church near Maldon and to a crowd of vintage enthusiasts for the Vulcan Restoration Trust Dance inside a hangar at Southend Airport. Despite bookings being either cancelled or postponed this year due to the ongoing pandemic, Lewis will resume work with the band.
